I have Nascar 08 for PS2 but i hear from everyone that if you turn off braking assists at Daytona or Talladega while doing your qualifying laps it will be an easy poll. But i can’t figure out how to turn it off. I also have a steering wheel with pedals and if i can turn off brake assist it will be fun to work your feet!

Yeah, it should be under the options. First thing I do with any racing game is turn off all the computer assist and see how bad I suck before I turn on the traction control again. I can usually do okay with just some traction control, but the braking assist and stability control slows down the car.

I believe if you turn ‘driving assists’ off, that’ll do the trick. Also setting your driver ranking from rookie to legend seems to help.
