Check fuses,bulbs,relays and brake switch located behind brake pedal and make sure all is working properly

It likely sounds like a burnt out brake light. Sometimes those are tricky to see that they are burnt out unless you have someone stand behind your car while you press on the brakes. I would try doing that first.
