To put a traffic-generating MasterMind team together, you need to choose the right people, establish guidelines for your group and meet on a consistent basis.


First, you have to decide how many people you want to collaborate with and what kind of people you are looking for. Ideally, you should form a group of 5-8 people, 12 max. This size group gives everyone a chance to be heard and is more practical as far as scheduling goes. But keep in mind that masterminding with just one other person can reap huge benefits.


Before you begin recruiting, you need to know what kind of people you are looking for. Simply being aware of the characteristics you want those in your group to possess will help attract the right people to you. The kind of people who can help you devise ways to bring traffic to your site are:


–Action-oriented, motivated and ambitious.


–Committed to their success and the success of the group.


–Willing to share their ideas.


–Open-minded and interested in learning new things.


–Always striving to improve themselves and their situations.


Your family, friends and colleagues could make great MasterMind partners as long as they share the above-mentioned characteristics. But some of the best people to work with are those you meet at seminars. You can also ask those you respect in your industry to join you.

4. All members must agree to respect each other and maintain a high level of integrity.


5. Require attendance and participation. This prevents people from only showing up and participating when they have a problem. It also establishes a sense of trust in that everyone can rely on each other to show up and contribute their ideas.


6. Allow only one person to speak at a time, and speak with the understanding that everything spoken to the group stays with the group. Knowing that everything discussed remains confidential allows for the free-flowing of ideas and information.


7. The discussions must remain focused on the task at hand to make each meeting worthwhile. “Rabbit trails” only waste everyone’s time.


Once you have a team together and the groundwork set, start meeting. At the beginning of each meeting, give participants an opportunity to share an update. Find out what each has accomplished since the last meeting and what each would like to discuss during the current meeting.


Then allot a certain amount of discussion time for each person. Throw out problems to the group and brainstorm solutions. Or just pose a question like “What can I do to generate more traffic?” Listen and record the ideas that come pouring in from your MasterMind partners.


At the conclusion of the meeting, give participants another chance to share. This time, have each person state the things they want to achieve before you all meet again.


You can choose to vary your format in whatever way works best for your group. For example, you can focus on only one person/business per meeting. Whatever you choose, make sure you remain focused on your overall goal: to grow your business. The savvy sage uses the word ?fast? to mean ?fast from excess.? Eat only the amount of physical fuel you need for optimal efficiency of your body. This is the strategy shamans refer to as ?touching the world lightly.? Be involved with cultural conventions only to the degree necessary to function socially. Overeating physical food can cause sluggishness, nausea and constipation. Over-absorption with the limitations and contradictions of cultural mores can cause you to get confused, drained, overwhelmed, emotionally backed up?and, consequently, very ineffective and unhappy. Be in the world, but not ?of it.?

Go to Bed Empty

Go to sleep with an empty stomach, clear mind, and peaceful heart, so that your body and being have the greatest opportunity to rest and recharge. When the body has to spend the night digesting a stomach full of food, then it doesn?t have the time or energy to heal and balance. When we go to bed with a troubled mind or heart, we have a shallow, unrestful sleep with many fitful dreams or nightmares. And our spirit has no time to connect with its highest self and intuit creative solutions to our worldly challenges.

Eat Only from True Hunger

Our physical body has biological needs that food can satisfy. Our emotional and spiritual bodies have emotional and spiritual needs that food can never gratify. When choosing what to eat, it?s helpful to be able to distinguish the difference between true hunger (physical need) and ?false? hunger (emotional and spiritual need).

When you learn to discern emotional and spiritual hunger (emptiness) from physical hunger, you can then adopt the attitude and actions to attract the right people and activities that will truly fill the hole of soul emptiness.

Chew Life Well before Swallowing

An astute Eastern adage suggests: ?Chew your liquid and drink your food.? The guidance is to chew your beverages so that your liquids mix well with saliva and, therefore, are predigested by digestive enzymes in your saliva before you swallow. In the same manner, chew your solid food until it breaks down into a consistency that it can be drunk as a liquid. This chewing mixes your food with the same helpful saliva pre-digestive juices?and saves your stomach the chore of breaking down chunks of food.

Chewing your liquid and food well leads to good digestion by making your body?s job easier. The less energy the body needs to expend to digest, absorb and utilize your food and liquids, the more energy you have available to create, play and enjoy life!

In the same manner, the recommendation is to chew or contemplate well any experience or information before you swallow or believe it?that is, take it in as part of you. With this approach you?re intuitively prescreening ideas, interactions and events before you allow them to become part of your belief system?and, therefore, part of your personal reality!

Building a muscular physique is hard enough if you know what you’re doing. It doesn’t help when there are so many different opinions in the gym. If you’re like me, you’ve had a hard time building muscle and have been frustrated by all the conflicting advice. Thankfully though, it’s possible to get through the myths and learn the truth about muscle building.

For a long time I listened to other guys in the gym who tried to convince me about their methods. However, after a while I realized that they weren’t too successful themselves. I mean, why would you listen to someone who didn’t have the muscle to prove his knowledge? They seem to think they knew a lot about building muscle just because they used all the right words. They often talked about how great a “pump” they were getting from their workouts, and they did their best to keep up with the latest supplement fads.

One of their biggest mistakes, however, was spending way too much time in the gym. Many beginners wrongly assume that more time in the gym equals more muscle. This is definitely not the best way to the train in the gym. The problem is that your muscles don’t grow until after leave the gym! You have to give your body enough rest to allow the muscles to grow back bigger and stronger. Spending all day at the gym neglects the importance of recovering from your workouts. Of course, you have to eat enough protein and overall calories if you’re going to build muscle.

These last two concepts, diet and recovery, are crucial to your success. Despite this, far too many trainees ignore them. Or maybe it’s just that they’re not aware of how important they are. If that’s the case, I want to take a moment to emphasize just how crucial they are. Despite what you might think, your commitment does not end at the gym doors. That is the beginning, not the end, of your training. Everything you eat and drink, for one thing, will go a long way towards determining what you look like in a few months time. You can remain the same because you didn’t eat enough even though you worked out that the gym. You could also gain a bunch of fat because you decided to eat the wrong foods thinking that all calories are equal. Or you can follow some basic rules and develop some serious muscle.

The rules for building muscle are actually not too hard to understand. They are simple, but they’re not easy. You still have to put in the effort, but the basic principles are simple enough to understand. Because there’s so much conflicting information, though, it’s best to stick to a proven program that teaches you all aspects of building muscle. To fit into the next lower size, be a role model of health for your child(ren) or just plain make a change in the way you are and how you feel? It is helpful to do some of the following:


1. Take measurements of your body, arms, legs, waist, hips, and chest. You can go on-line and get information on body mass index. Keep in mind though, that if you are small in stature or very large boned, this is not taken into account. The BMI does give you an idea of what your ideal weight should be. You may even want to go and get a physical and discuss your goals to your doctor. This also ensures you have no underline conditions and are good to go with your plan.


2. Take into account what you like to do. For example, dance, walk, work out with a video, do the treadmill or join a gym. What will help you continue in your goals? Write it down what you will do in order to obtain a healthier you. Or if the gym is your decision, go and sign up soon and see about instructors or even a personal trainer if available and you can afford one. If not, see if you can get a friend to join in your regime, and encourage them to encourage you.


3. Eating habits are important too in obtaining a healthy you. First label this as “Good Choice Eating Habits” not a diet. Discard or give to a food bank, any foods that are not good for you. You want to stick foods like veggies and fruits, poultry, lean red meats, low-fat dairy, beans, and low carb foods into your refrigerator and pantry. Just as an insight, I personally stay away from snack foods that are the 100 calorie individual packages, because I just seem to eat 3 of the packages at a time!


4. Write down what exercise you will do and do not attempt to change your schedule. For example, when starting, waking up early may not be for you. But if you skip your high calorie cappuccino of plain coffee, park further from the doors in the parking lot and take the stairs it may be a start for you. Then from there, walk at lunch or after work, hit the gym and do a few reps of each machine or go home and turn on your favorite tunes and dance your “self healthy”.


5. Write down food that goes into your mouth, each and every time. Plan the night before what is for breakfast. Then, start a plan by packing your lunch with healthy foods (you can even do this if you stay at home and stick to what is bagged for you that day-You will not look further into the refrig.) For dinner try to keep it simple with mostly veggies and a “fist-size” portion of meat/protein. Eating healthy is not always simple to start, because it does require some preparation, but after you cut up veggies, put fruits in front of the bins and get rid of fatty foods, it is all worthwhile.


6. Do not weigh yourself everyday, do not expect immediate results and do keep a diary of how you are doing in your eyes.


7. Remember Rome was not built in a day, so go for the long haul and make it an everlasting routine.


8. Last but not least, you can enjoy a treat now and again within reason. You don’t have to exercise every day but do try 4 times a week and at least for 20 minutes. And look at this entire change as positive and worth all of it… just for you!
