I’ve got a Scion tC and have been thinking about installing a supercharger. I currently have 160 hp.

What would be the horsepower and the maximum top speed. It has 160 mph on the dash but it’s been tested to hit 135mph but no more because of the governor on the engine. It’s horsepower is 180. How much increase in horsepower and top speed am I looking at if I buy a supercharger for the 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S?

was thinking for European cars like Spyker, Ferrari or other cars that have a passion for engineering and performance. Do they need to get another education besides mechanical engineering in undergrad years? I mean not the only the person who puts the car together, but the one who designs the engine and the rest of the car as well.

Got a 2005 v6 mustang, which a supercharger that runs at 8 psi (300 rwhp) and I want to know how much would it cost for it to be installed and then tuned?
also can the tunning place install the supercharger aswell?

I recently totaled my 2000 Camaro and want to get back to my younger years. I loved my SHO, but may miss the power my Z-28 had. I was just wondering if a supercharger is safe and how much horsepower will increase? Thanks for the input.

I read out of an automotive book that for every 1000-ft of elevation, your car loses 3% performance relative to sea level. BUT does anyone know numbers when it comes to air temperature??
(Assuming that the car does not have forced induction)

I brought it to Midas and they gave me an estimate for $225.
They said it only needs a muffler replacement, no other parts need replacing.
The car has 105000 miles and it’s the original muffler.
