Aero Turbine Mufflers Increase Power and Fuel Economy

23 November 2009 | No Comments » | admin

The Aero Turbine Muffler accomplishes four main things. It increases fuel economy, it increases horsepower and torque, it reduces exhaust gas temperatures, and it improves engine longevity. I will explain how it accomplishes all this through its design and inner workings.

The mufflers that come on most of today?s vehicles are full of baffles and restrictions. This creates back pressure on the engine that decreases performance, economy, and engine longevity. Aero Exhaust has created the Aero Turbine Muffler; this muffler has a straight through design and the inner workings of a jet engine. The muffler works like a jet engine to increase the flow of the exhaust as it flows through. This makes it so the engine doesn?t have to push the exhaust away. The aero turbine actually vacuums the exhaust away from the engine. Getting the exhaust away from the engine and letting it breathe freely dramatically increases performance and engine longevity. It also reduces exhaust gas temperatures which makes it safe to add other performance modifications and run more power. Most importantly is the economy increase, especially with today?s gas prices that are only on the rise. Thousands of users are experiencing huge increases in fuel economy on gas vehicles and diesels alike. Most are experiencing about a 15% increase in economy and there are even some getting up 25% better economy.

With the straight through type design of the Aero Turbine, most would expect it to be extremely loud. The swirling motion that the muffler adds to the exhaust as it flows through muffles the sound, and lowers the exhaust tone. So you end up with a deep throaty sound. It also comes in a resonated version, which has a built in resonator in the front of the muffler. Both versions have identical performance and economy increases, the only difference is that the resonated version of the muffler is closer to stock sound levels, although it still has a deep throaty tone to it. The non resonated version has more sound to it. The Mufflers work on all gas and diesel vehicles from cars to trucks and all the way up to even motor homes and RV?s.

Corsa Exhaust – Power Without Deafness

22 November 2009 | No Comments » | admin

Corsa, famed for its high-quality exhaust, has etched its distinction by providing the industry with 4 beneficial features. Said features include its patented Reflective Sound Cancellation (RSC) technology that makes exhausts whisper quiet on the streets. Other features include lesser backpressure, increased torque and horsepower and great performance sound.

Corsa exhaust system advances exhaust flow by a maximum of 55%. Aside from that the revolutionary exhaust when combined with efficient cold air intake will pave way for a proficient breathing capability, better fuel economy, low engine temperature and improved torque. The exhaust system of Corsa is manufactured from high-quality 304 stainless steel.

Experts are saying that along ingenuity and power is convenience. This is also the philosophy of Corsa. In fact, another edge why automakers are shifting to Corsa is that it need not use complex welding equipment to install the exhaust. This is because it is bolts on using the hangers and fasteners, which are integrated with the purchase. However, the most loved feature of Corsa is its ’silencer’ effect. Its avant-garde, noise-reducing feature is one of the greatest factors why the company is renowned in the field of automobile exhaust system.

According to some critics, the cutting-edge engineering of Corsa exhaust has gained its moniker as the exhaust systems technology which has ’silencer’. The aftermath is minimized irritating in-cabin sound of booming drones. Hence, owners of vehicles equipped with Corsa’s exhaust system can engage in coffee conversations while traveling the freeway.

Corsa generates greater power with the least hum by getting rid of restrictive packing materials. Instead, the latter are replaced with baffles to permit tone adjustment on the fly. Another reason is that it does not interfere with the exhaust gas flow. Corsa exhaust also sedates loudness and stimulates itself by producing a minimized humming sound.

Corsa exhaust is used by Chevrolet, Chevy Tahoe, Cadillac, Magnum, Mustang, Corvette and other vehicles. Its revolutionary charm has captured the exhaust demands of the mentioned high-caliber vehicles.

Honda Mufflers: More Performance Power, Less Exhaust Noise

The exhaust system is integral in any Honda vehicle. It is basically a group of pipes and tubing designed to direct the exhaust gases created by the engine to the atmosphere. It consists of many components that help in this operation. One of these is the Honda muffler. Also called silencers, Honda mufflers reduce the exhaust noise for the comfort of the passengers. They also eliminate some of the toxic elements in the exhaust gases before these are released in the atmosphere.

Inside the muffler, a set of tubes capable of creating reflected waves can be found. These waves basically cancel each other out as the exhaust gases and the sound waves come in the center tube. They are then spring back to the muffler to go through different holes into another chamber. This is where the gas and noise come to the last pipe, and released to the atmosphere. Through the help of a resonating chamber, Honda mufflers can minimize the exhaust noise. Linked to the first chamber through a hole, the resonator holds a required volume of air and length that create a wave to decrease the sound. The resonator can commonly be found under the rear of the vehicle. In trucks with diesel engines and large mufflers, however, the resonator is located behind the cab.

Honda mufflers also contribute to the vehicle?s performance while reducing backpressure. Since the late 20th century when mufflers of this type were invented, they have been proven to improve the efficiency, performance, and power of the engine. They also extend the life of engine components. Another type of muffler capable of diminishing backpressure is a glass pack or a cherry bomb.

To maintain the performance of your Honda at a maximum level, you need efficient Honda mufflers. Our site offers a wide variety of mufflers guaranteed to give your vehicle a powerful performance and a smooth exhaust operation.

Exhaust headers help conserve the engine power

While the engine generates the power to drive the car it also has to generate the power to drive itself. The more power it requires to drive itself the less power is left to drive the car. Therefore car aftermarket products that help reduce the power required to run the engine help improve the car?s performance.

A lot of the engine?s power is consumed in driving the piston in and out of the cylinders. In the power stroke where the fuel is ignited there is energy generated for this. But in the next stroke where the exhaust gases are thrown out the engine needs to consume power.

Exhaust headers help reduce the power required to throw out exhaust gases. An exhaust header assists in taking away the exhaust gases quickly from a multi cylinder engine. How does it do that? To understand that we need to understand briefly how a multi cylinder engine works.

In a multi cylinder engine in each cylinder fuel is burnt and then the exhaust gases from the cylinder are thrown out. The exhaust gases from all the cylinders reach an exhaust manifold. The manifold is like a gathering place for the exhaust gases.
